Philosophy

Building experiences are tricky. It’s something that despite our growing social networks and faster communications, is becoming more and more demanding. It’s about forming a bond. Inspiring each other. It’s about communicating. Doing all of that isn’t easy. That is where i come in.

For the past ten years I have been consistently working with people and clients in marketing capacities. From graphic & web design to project-coordinating and event planning, I have cultivated a strong set of analytic, organizational, and creative skills that help me tackle a variety of problems. I am equally comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team. Coupled with my energy and eagerness to learn new skills, I am very adept at handling whatever comes my way. I have always been able to establish and maintain excellent relationships with clients and coworkers at all levels. In addition, my experience as a manager has proven to only enhance my ability to build relationships with my team.

I have spent the last 2 years immersed in convergence marketing. Creating an experience across all channels by focusing on the emerging trends of social media and SEM.  My experience has been focused on writing engaging copy for blogs, press releases and web content. I’ve also manage Facebook, Twitter and youtube accounts for 7 store locations and an e commerce channel. In addition, I handle all aspects of online marketing campaigns.

Beyond my career, I also have extensive knowledge in public relations and event marketing. I am a co-founder of a non-for-profit community theater in Washington, MO called The Riverside Players. I am in charge of all communication and public image matters. I have experience with fundraising campaigns, database management and email marketing. As a group fitness instructor at the YMCA, I also have experience in leading and motivating groups of people of all ages as well as effective time management.

I believe my attention to detail, flexible nature and commitment to people allows me to stand out in a positive way by ensuring success of whatever I put my mind too. I’m a dedicated and passionate person who enjoys new challenges.  Creativity and hard-work are two of my favorite things.
